~Yendorian Tales Book 2


Some help plus a bug/cheat.



~Cheat

I don't know if this is a cheat or a bug, but while adventuring 
around in Yendorian Tales Book 2 I accidentally hit ESC while one 
of my character's sheets was up and the next thing I know my 
mouse pointer turns into +5 Leather boots (while in the govenor's 
place) and a +7 2-handed sword (while in the bat mine).  Has 
anyone else experienced this???



~Hints.

Cleaned out blackwing mine except for this one section with spikes.
How do I get past the spikes?  I find a wall section that tells me
it is trapped and locked and I can't unlock it:-


~To go through secret walls you have to cast DISPEL ILLUSION on it 
~if you are of high enough level.You need to be about level nine or 
~10 to go on to the next stage of things Thieves den.Did the 4 rooms 
~at the corners...Got through the one portal who's answer was north.
~Can't figure out the other 3 riddles.

~The answers to the others are EAST WEST and NORTH funnily enough...



There is an island to the south? Do I only get to it after Blackwing
is done?

~Yes you can only get to the next stage if you have registered the 
~game as well becuase the portal asks you for your registration code.

~It is a level 21 spell that you will need later in the game....
